As the sole therapist and owner of Amba Holistics, I have the right to maintain a fair, safe, and balanced practice that honours my expertise, well-being, and professional autonomy. This document outlines my rights as the owner and therapist of the business, helping to ensure that I have the tools and space to run a successful and fulfilling practice.

1. Right to Professional Autonomy

As the sole therapist and business owner, I have the right to:

  • Set my own professional boundaries and practice the healing methods that align with my training, qualifications, and personal philosophy.
  • Decide on the scope of my services, which may include Reiki, crystal healing, crystal facial massage, house/space clearings or any other modality I am trained to offer.
  • Choose my own clients and decide which ones are a good fit for my services, based on my professional judgment and ethical considerations.

2. Right to Control Over Business Operations

As the owner of Anba Holistics, I have the right to:

  • Manage all business operations, including setting pricing, creating policies, marketing, scheduling, and financial decisions.
  • Make decisions regarding the business's structure and growth, including whether to expand services, hire employees or contractors, or change business practices.
  • Decide on hours of operation, which should fit my personal and professional lifestyle. I have the flexibility to set my own working hours and availability.

3. Right to Fair Compensation

As the sole therapist and business owner, I am entitled to:

  • Receive 100% of the profits generated from my services, minus any business expenses (such as overhead costs, insurance, marketing, etc.).
  • Determine my own fee structure, based on the market, my qualifications, and the value I provide to clients.
  • Adjust my fees as needed, whether for special promotions, discounted services, or changes in your professional costs.

4. Right to Personal Well-being and Work-Life Balance

As a holistic healer and business owner, I have the right to:

  • Prioritise my personal health and well-being, ensuring that my own needs are met to prevent burnout and maintain a high standard of care for my clients.
  • Take breaks and time off when needed for rest, self-care, or personal commitments, without the pressure of client expectations. I have the flexibility to schedule my own vacations or mental health days.
  • Set realistic limits on my workload to ensure that I do not overwhelm myself with too many clients or too much responsibility.

5. Right to Confidentiality and Ethical Practice

As a therapist, I have the right to:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client information, in accordance with privacy laws and my own ethical standards.
  • Practice within my scope of competence and qualifications. I have the right to refer clients to other professionals if their needs go beyond my expertise.
  • Operate in an ethical manner, ensuring that my business follows all relevant local laws, regulations, and codes of ethics related to holistic healing practices.

6. Right to Control Marketing and Branding

As the sole practitioner and business owner, I have the right to:

  • Market my services according to my business vision. I can decide on the types of marketing strategies, including social media, website, print materials, and client referrals.
  • Develop my personal brand, which may include my unique approach, philosophy, or specialties within the holistic healing field.
  • Make decisions about business growth, whether expanding my services, offering online programs, or creating additional revenue streams such as workshops, courses, or product sales.

7. Right to Financial Independence and Financial Management

As a business owner, I have the right to:

  • Manage the business finances independently, including setting my own budgets, managing revenue and expenses, and filing taxes.
  • Monitor my financial health by tracking income and expenses and making necessary adjustments to sustain a profitable practice.
  • Invest in the growth of my business, including purchasing new equipment, attending professional development courses, or expanding services.

8. Right to Refuse Service

I have the right to:

  • Refuse service to clients if their needs go beyond my expertise, if there is a mismatch between their needs and my approach, or if you feel that a client's behaviour is inappropriate.
  • Set boundaries with clients, including physical, emotional, and professional boundaries, to ensure a safe, respectful, and effective therapeutic relationship.
  • Discontinue a session at any time if I feel uncomfortable, if there is a violation of boundaries, or if I believe the session is not benefiting the client.

9. Right to Maintain Professional Development

As a therapist, I have the right to:

  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development by attending workshops, conferences, or pursuing certifications to deepen my expertise and knowledge.
  • Invest in my own growth, whether it’s exploring new healing techniques or expanding my services in alignment with client needs and my personal interests.

10. Right to Terminate or Change the Business Structure

As the sole owner, I have the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue my business at any time, including selling the business, changing its structure, or closing it down entirely if it no longer aligns with my goals or interests.
